From NZIA Awards text: This project is a well-considered renovation and addition to a formerly majestic homestead. The new wing respects the original form of the house and integrates a series of large contemporary living and entertaining spaces. Existing rambling additions have been peeled away and replaced with a carefully detailed spacious addition that flows effortlessly onto a beautiful external living space.
